- Increased social engagement and a bigger social network
- A maintenance-free lifestyle, where all interior and exterior maintenance is provided
- Potential tax benefits
- Access to higher levels of healthcare, if you need it
Our levels of care explained
If you need a bit more information about the levels of care that we offer in our CCRC, you’ve come to the right place.
Independent Living
Live unassisted in your residence of choice. The goal is to move into a CCRC while you are still independent, so you can enjoy all the CCRC amenities and benefits.
Assisted Living
If your care needs increase, assisted living provides 24/7 access to medical and custodial care. Staff members are available to help with activities of daily living.
Memory Care
Memory care supports seniors with memory loss due to dementia, Alzheimer’s disease or other cognitive impairments. Personalized care that keeps residents comfortable, engaged and safe.
Skilled Nursing
When you need more care than assisted living, skilled nursing provides 24/7 medical and custodial care. We offer long-term skilled nursing for ongoing needs, and short-term care and rehabilitation for extra care while recovering from surgery, a stroke or any temporary condition.
Understand the costs of a CCRC
CCRCs are entrance fee communities, which means you pay a one-time entrance fee to secure lifetime availability and priority access to housing and care in the community. That’s right, you’re investing in the peace of mind, knowing you will always be cared for and never be asked to leave, even if you run out of funds.
Entrance Fees
An entrance fee is a one-time, lump sum that you pay to live in the community. It’s based upon factors such as the square footage, the view and the number of occupants.
At Cascade Village, entrance fees start at $253,000 for a one-bedroom apartment home and increase, based on the size of the residence and the number of total occupants (maximum of two per residence). Many residents sell their existing homes to finance their entrance fee.
Monthly Fees
In addition to the entrance fee, CCRCs have a monthly fee, which essentially covers your rent and all the amenities.
Monthly Fee: $2,900-$7,300
Second-Person Flat Monthly Fee: $1,200
Cascade Village’s monthly fee includes:
- Life Care benefit and a continuum of care
- Weekly housekeeping, including changing of bed linens
- Full gourmet kitchen and washer/dryer
- All utilities, including heat and A/C, which you control in your home
- Private, one-car garage
- 24-hour security, gated community and an emergency alert system
- Interior and exterior maintenance
- Property taxes
- Concierge services
- Group and point-to-point transportation services
- Fitness center with instructors and classes
- Heated pool and spa
- Life-enriching activities, social events and education
- Flexible meal plan, where you can eat in the restaurant, bistro or bar
